The Taste Café is staffed by volunteers and can be found among local shops at 426 Woodbridge Road, close to St. John the Baptist church. Forty volunteers from eight churches, including St John’s, have served over 7,000 customers in the past year.
“So many people have been involved in what we feel is an exciting and highly worthwhile cause.The café has touched the lives of so many people. It’s used regularly by a wide range of customers and has become a well known meeting place in our area. The community has embraced it and we hope it will continue to go from strength to strength.”
